Garden Makeover

The brief was to make this outdoor area low maintenance, remove the grass that the dogs had ruined and relocate the spa. We retained the existing fence which we stained in black, removed the grass and replaced with limesand, built a new Pergola which the spa went under, and built several planter boxes. We used a combination of tall established trees to create an instant hedge and pre grown buxus hedges in the planters to frame the specimen trees. Lighting and irrigation were also installed.

Retaining Wall, Lawn and Planting

The owner was a busy builder and his wife wanting the landscaping finished for their two young kids to enjoy. We completed the half finished retaining wall, built steps and a path in lime sand and finished it off with hedging and instant lawn.

This overgrown garden needed a freshen up. We retained the existing fences and stained them in black. Uncovered a low retaining wall which we planted in lavender to form a hedge, and laid a new lawn.

New Build

The brief was to build a large Kwila deck. small entry deck, fence, Pergola to clients design. planters, retaining wall and steps. We suggested some garden edging, planting and leveling the lawn are prior to seeding which finished the site.

Level site and retain

This large bank was unusable and the client wanted to create a level area for their children to enjoy. We cleared the site, excavated it, build one large and one smaller retaining walls and an adjoining fence. The client was to undertake painting and planting.

The clients are avid gardeners and wanted raised planters to grow vegetables. After clearing the site we built raised planters with paths between, installed instant lawn and built a potting bench.

New Build Townhouse

The brief was to provide a low maintenance, cost effective landscaping solution for two similar town houses side by side. Garden edging, hedges and instant lawn combined to provide a stylish yet easy care outdoor area.

Pinot Grove Subdivision

The Pinot Grove subdivision involved the creation of 72 sections out of unused farmland. The recreation centre features a tennis court, heated pool and day lounge. 27 truck and trailer loads of hedges were freighted down from Auckland to create instant privacy between sections.

Backyard Makeover

This unused backyard was transformed with the creation of two extensive decks, several fences, a high end fireplace and planting of established trees to create an instant hedge. The imprinted concrete between the decks will be covered by the client in a future project.

The client was giving the sleepout a makeover and wanted to upgrade the garden to match. Work included clearing the site. rebuilding fences, building a low retaining wall and laying instant lawn.

New Build

We started this job with excavating a challenging bank and building two retaining walls and laying a slab between them. We also retained below the spa to create a flat area that we laid in instant lawn. We built a deck, a boundary fence in Kwila and constructed angled steps in concrete. We laid schist stone pavers and added mulch to finish it all off.

We have landscaped 72 townhouses across nine different sites which typically require a fast tun around in tight timeframes.

Instant Lawn

The old lawn was in poor condition so we removed it, added lots of healthy lawn mix and laid instant lawn. We also created various raised garden beds.
